The Force is with this one

Back in 2005 I thought it would be a great idea to try my hand at the Starwars mini's tourny in Indy. I looked at my options and selected the 100 point sealed. I didn't think I would do very well going into this tourny. I mean, this was my first tourny of any kind...ever. I had only played mini's aginst my wife at home so I was walking in with a serious lack of experiance. Little did i know that it was going to turn out to be one og the best experiances i could ever have at Gencon. We all recieved our boxes and checked in our mini's. I thought I was in luck. I got a Nightsister Sith Witch( which I thought looked cool), and some others, then I opened my last box and there he was.. Lord Vader him self... I had to use him. Truns out Mr. shiny black helmet is pretty darn good. I got blown away in my forst match though. The guy I played aginst was pretty patient and gave me a few pointers. From there on I lit it up. I got on a hot streak and just could not lose. I won all the rest of my matches and ended up winning 3rd place! What made this victory even sweeter for me though was checking the dci rankings a few weeks later and finding out I was the number 1 ranked Starwars Mini's player in Indiana! I didn't get into any tournys last year, but I will never forget my few moments in shining glory.
